This game scratches a very specific itch in my brain and i was extremely pleased to see that it has an itch.io link!! i am a huge sucker for weird self-indulgent crossover things. i had played through the entirety of the gamemaker version and i'm just now playing the unity version.

..also, it's nice to have a version of the game in the language i speak in [english] - as much as i didn't MIND sticking it through google translate, it's definitely not what the author intended for me to do ehe

where is the gamemaker version? cause as much as i like this version, it seems theres a version with more content that i'd like to try out, and i can only assume it was the gamemaker one.

The game maker studio 2 version only has one language, 'Chinese'.

it also has an english patch. it doesn't translate everything like Unity but most of the stuff is translated.

in my game there is no new world, is it a bug in my game?

The version produced by Unity currently does not have Chapters 3 and 4.

I remember having played the first version of this game when I was still a child, after years I decided to research it again and I was impressed.

I finished the whole game in one day, I didn't even make it halfway through the levels of the original, but this is amazing, the graphics are better, the story seems interesting (as much as I don't remember much of that part), you're really enjoying yourself. trying hard at it.

Know that you marked my childhood, and I look forward to the next update.


Afterwards, the fight against the nightmare is 10 times better, it's something challenging and interesting, I miss the messages from the nightmare, but it's still much better refined.

THis is my favourite game but  i miss the old slenderman music.

Because the original music originated from "The Binding of Isaac," some immature fans went to the music review section of "The Binding of Isaac," and posted comments like "Wow! This music appeared in Minecraft VS Zombies 2!", which caused confusion for fans of "The Binding of Isaac," so Cuerzor chose to change the music.

This is by far one of the best Plants vs zombies fangames I've ever played. Legitimately. The plants are fun to fiddle around with, the levels strike a good balance between challenging and fair, and the story, while weird, is surprisingly intriguing. It is a shame that the game's future is uncertain, but since the base game is this good, it's hard to bellyache too much about it. I sincerely hope the best for the creator, and that they can get the help they need and take their time on developing, though.

Just a reminder, the developer got a job recently and won't continue developing any more fan projects for the time being. Whether this project will continue to be updated or not is uncertain, the future of the project is unknown, and whether you regard this as a cancelled project and go play something else instead, or the developer being on a super long hiatus, is up to you. It's sad indeed, but as a fan project that's way too ambitious like this, these things are bound to happen.

Ok, so I HATE the ball minigame. Help me please just update the game to add these ideas to the game.

1) make the ball respawn instant. It's sooo annoying when you have a zombie get to your house because the ball respawns too slow

2) BETTER HITBOXES DAMMIT IT'S SO SO ANNOYING WHEN YOU ATTACK AND THE BALL JUST PHASES THROUGH

3) Make the board size upgrade cheaper. 150 ME is just toooo much.

4) less iron helmets, they are too, too, op.

5) more predictable bouncing. make the ball bounce more to a fashion of say... the dvd thingamabob

6) new upgrades, ex: more balls per respawn, increased damage, splash damage.

7) when the ball hits the left wall just make it bounce back please, its so annoying D:<

8) add some way to reclaim a lost mower- sorry i mean nyan cat, because thats the dream world mower.

9) this ones not a difficulty change, but just to make it more exciting, add skeletons that will bounce the ball if it hits the same tile as the arrow it shoots.

I would love to see these in a new update please!

Sounds like one of those things where i just use to reply :"Git gud", but i haven't played the game yet. So i'll do it, then i'll come back and say:"Git gud"

Considering you said you played through it on Normal mode, 'git gud' is very good advice for you, too.


Also don't even attempt the dream world boss on Hard, I'm warning you in advance.

It just needs some luck.

i created an account for itch.io just to comment on this game.

please, oh please rework the ball level

here's some ideas on how to make it potentially fun

1. larger zombie hitboxes

2. less RNG (more consistent ball angles so it's actually dependent on player skill)

3. more predictable, less difficult zombies (so that means don't send out 3 bucketheads in one wave)

4. that mechanic that's in regular pvz, where after a lawnmower goes down zombies don't spawn in that lane for a little while

5. fix bugs (i've, several times, fired a ball directly at a zombie and it's gone right through)

6. make it optional

7. more often redstone drops

8. the ability to place some contraptions (kind of like the pvz hammer level, no peashooters or anything just, like, tnt traps and obsidian)

any combination of these 8 ideas would probably make it a pretty good minigame

Thank god somebody else agrees, thought maybe i was alone in this or smthn..  I'm assumming you also played it on hard mode, and be careful with 2nd world boss in hardmode- i personally had to go down to normal for these two bc dear god it affects these two levels way more than it reasonably should

Personally, I don't think the hard level 2-11 is too difficult, but it has some luck, so we can't guarantee that we can pass every challenge.

But the ball is consistent. Just hit it with the upper part of the pad and it'll bounce upwards, hit it with the lower part and it'll bounce downwards. Like, all you have to do is to buy the larger pad and then a second ball. That's all... at least at normal difficulty settings

Play it on hard settings, literally had to go down to normal settings and I'll tell you rn- difficultt should NOT change minigames this drastically.  Go ahead and try it on Hard mode, and i at least did it on mobile and tell me how much harder it is.


and yes, we know that you buy the pad and a second ball- clearly, that's what your supposed to do.  But in hard mode, it's genuinely absurd.  Waay more zombies here, consistently harder zombies, and you gain WAY less ME for this.

Mobile? How do you play this minigame on mobile? Computer is way better for this stuff

Well it's just drag finger as the movement.. beat the game aside from the final level of world 2, the boss, and the minigame here on Hard on mobile.  Not that hard aside from those two levels.


Try em' on hard, and lmk if it's just as hard on pc in that level bc it is absurd, least on mobile.

On the computer side, press the space bar to pause or unsuspend the game. If you move the cursor when the game is paused, the object that catches the ball will move to the cursor position in a moment after the pause is released. Using this technique can greatly reduce the need for responsiveness.

Despite previous post- (Which difficulty shouldn't effect mini-games btw) I will say I did not expect much from this game at all.  HOWEVER- It's genuinely insanely fun and I can't believe I'm saying this but I look forward to chapter 3 or 4 and am even going back and downloading an older version/the other version to be able to play more of the game.  Genuinely great stuff overall, and actually feels like PVZ when it comes to the gameplay and core mechanics.

Never thought i'd care enough to say anything abt this game.  But please fucking make the hitboxes on zombies bigger for level 2-6, the brickbreaker level is honestly unfun, pure rng, and you can't do jackshit until you get lucky.   There's no consistent angle, I've had the ball go through the zombies thousands of times, two- even, at once, at different angles, pass THROUGH the bottom of a zombie and it didn't do shit.  It's not a fun level in any reagrd, and is just infuriating when the damn ball goes through a zombie for no reason other then it feels like it.  Fucking fix, change, or just remove this level.

Among Chinese fans, there are also many mobile players who think this level is too difficult.

This game is so damn good! The only complaint I have is that Totenser won't burn the Mummy's gas, which causes my gravity pads to constantly die. Even that complaint though is just because I'm too lazy to think of a solution. I cannot wait for the next update!

The lack of microtransactions makes it already 200x better, while the fact that the cactus was made viable without making it a requirement nor making it overpowered made it another 100x better

wait so when  i got to the second world level 11 and approach the boss is the game supposed to crash? ( this is the chinese verison)

This is a bug in version 0.15.1, please switch to version 0.14.0 to play.
